Bruce had truly learned to love this tree as I had. I could look out our bedroom window and see lush green rather than street or park models-- a bit of privacy, too. I wanted the cutting down to be delayed while the other plants were maturing. We have a Juniper from Patrick's yard in Reno, now 6 ft. And the Asian elms are maturing. Sunburst Acacia will be beautiful next Spring and summer. Whispering Aspen is lovely to see and listen to. And, of course, there is a blue spruce slowly, very slowly beginning to grace the yard.Mary Kay Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14850931977538317404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2799124224672214005.post-13567625850042005312010-10-17T18:27:54.478-07:002010-10-17T18:27:54.478-07:00This little Oak tree (not so small for long) has t...This little Oak tree (not so small for long) has the best bodyguard! The Bureau of Indian Affairs will need to investigate the tribal status of the alleged "Indian" aka Native American, and get an opinion from the Council on Aging because of the "Old" personage making the statement. I'd think the Dept. of Labor would also need to launch an investigation to see whether or not the cutting of the blanket was done according to OSHA standards (if in this country) and if not, whether Free Trade or other agreements and treaties may have been broken in the process. Dept. of Immigration may need to be consulted to see whether or not these blankets were made and or cut by illegal and undocumented workers. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. We could be talking major scandal here, no doubt directly related to socialist policies of the current President. Check back for an answer in 3 to 5 years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2799124224672214005.post-54893153803228573412009-11-06T02:56:59.683-07:002009-11-06T02:56:59.683-07:00Bruce...Dad,
